The Power of Intuitive Discernment

& how to cultivate this for yourself

I was hanging out with some folks who are much older than me today but feel like kindred spirits in a lot of ways.

I personally love having intergenerational relationships in my life. Because I love hearing from people with different life experiences than my own.

I was talking about my new mentorship I just launched (The Empowered Intuition Mentorship, you can check it out here), and one of them asked me:”how do you teach people to trust their intuition? I just had a woman in my life tell me that she had a very clear intuitive feeling about something, but now she is saying it’s different. What’s up with that?”

I loved this question!

Honestly, “intuition”, while it may be a buzzword… I feel like is actually pretty mysterious to most people. Mystery is cool! But I actually don’t think “getting in touch with your intuition” has to be this hazy, vague thing.

In fact, developing my clairvoyant intuitive abilities has actually made it the exact opposite of that.

Intuition is simply put, your ability to go within for your answers. It’s information that comes through your spiritual senses that you receive by turning within. Intuition means to go inside yourself.

In our current culture, we are very used to (and conditioned heavily to) seek answers to our questions by sourcing information OUTSIDE of ourselves. What does this person have to say? What does this book have to say about my problem?

We rarely are encouraged to turn within for the answers to our questions and issues.

Your intuition is a muscle. The more you turn within and seek to exercise it, the stronger it gets.

The more you ACT on the intuitive information you perceive, the stronger it gets.

Your intuition is a way that you perceive the “unseen” world of energy, which is all around us. Your intuitive senses mirror your body’s physical senses to some degree.

You can feel energy (a gut feeling), you can taste energy (this is an interesting one!), you can smell energy, you can know it (like off the top of your head), you can hear it (like in telepathy), and you can SEE it (this is what clairvoyance is).

I have personally found in my decade-long experiment into cultivating my intuition that cultivating your CLAIRVOYANCE, or ability to see energy, is the one intuitive sense that provides the most clarity and discernment.

It also ties all of the others together, harmonizing them, and providing more cohesion.

Clairvoyance simply means to “see with clarity”. When you can SEE that voice you are hearing, it is much easier to discern WHO that actually is that is talking to you, for instance!

To expand more on that example…

I was absolutely fascinated by the most recent episode of the Aubrey Marcus podcast that is going viral… not only because it stirs up a lot of juicy conversation topics when it comes to relationship formats (another essay on that topic in the works), but also because in the podcast, Aubrey Marcus (new age spiritual influencer), talks about hearing the voices of God and Isis… and that these voices told him to open up a dating app to find this other woman and to have babies with both his current wife and now new girlfriend.

I know, it’s spiritual high drama ;)

But as a psychic my curiosity was peaked! Where were these messages actually coming from? Were these divine messages from God and Isis?

What I found when I did some intuitive investigating, meaning when I clairvoyantly looked at the energy of where those messages were coming from, was that no, in neither of these cases do I see that Aubrey was in communication with God or Isis. These messages came from OTHER places and if you want to hear what I saw, I created a channel on Instagram called Psychic Hot Takes where I shared what I saw…. Come hang out with us and listen!

HOW I was able to discern what actually happened in that scenario, though, was through using my CLAIRVOYANCE, aka my ability to see with clarity. I used my intuition to discern what was true and what was a lie in this scenario.

If Aubrey, as someone who is spiritually inclined, would have developed his clairvoyance (because anyone can!) and his third eye was OPEN when he received those messages, he might have been able to see and read where they were actually coming from.

That is the power of opening your third eye and cultivating your intuitive ability. You are much harder to deceive.

Intuitive discernment will help you in so many aspects of your life. It can guide you from within through a world full of things that appear one way but are actually another.

When you have cultivated your intuitive sight… you can not only use that to guide yourself, but you can also use it to guide others if that’s your path.

Opening your third eye enables you to be a conscious and awakened participant in the spiritual world. When you interact with the world of energy, you are not just fumbling around in the dark, trying to figure something out. You can see with clarity, and you have your awareness.

Intuition does not need to be this ultra mysterious thing that is vague and no one really knows where it comes from or how it works.

When you have that degree of unconsciousness around your intuition, you are less likely to be empowered in relationship to it.
